For students who need additional funding beyond the Stafford

Creditworthy students
may apply without a co-signer if they meet all three of the
2-2-2 Rule requirements: |
| |
1. |
You must have a satisfactory
credit, residence and employment history of at least two years,
and maintain employment with the same employer or in the same
field while attending school. |
| |
2. |
You must have two years' proof of
current income (or, if self-employed, have been in business
for at least two years). |
| |
3. |
You must be a U.S. citizen or permanent
resident and have resided in the U.S. for the previous two years. |
| • |
If you are an international
student or do not otherwise meet these requirements, you will
need to apply with a qualified creditworthy U.S. citizen or
permanent resident co-signer to be approved. |
| • |
If you apply with a
co-signer, your origination fee may be lower, depending on the
combined financial strength of you and your co-signer. Select
